Events & Celebrations, Inc. initiated operations in 2001 with the idea based in today's need of events to promote business, to create educational and socio-cultural activities for the benefit of corporations and the community.

he business concept is providing services of event planning by putting together our experience by creating a company, which develops the process of events from initial to completion.

About the President
Ximena Uribe has been actively involved with the community for the past 12 years, primarily with civic and cultural events. She has served many years as member of different and diverse organizations that promotes cultural and educational programs as well as fundraising chair to collect money for charity.   Obtained a degree in advertising at the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá Colombia ,

Served four years as Chair for Around the World in Weston, a diversified festival promoting the oneness of the human race; an active board member for the Arts Council of Greater Weston, Cropwalk to stop hunger in the world, YMCA Western Broward, and First Vice-President for International Women's Club, member of Sister Cities International and served as Secretary for Mujeres Latinas Impulsando Mujeres Latinas. She is an active member of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Weston Business Chamber of Commerce, and Colombian - American Chamber of Commerce.

One of her passions includes being part of the Boy Scouts of America as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Fundraising Chair, Unit Commissioner and Religious Counselor for cub scouts and boy scouts.

Ximena has served for four consecutive years as judge for The Herald Silver Knight Award in the Foreign Language Category. After so many years of professional and volunteer efforts, Ximena is the President and CEO of Events & Celebrations, Inc . a high quality event production corporation. Her company is the creator of the yearly Small Business Expo Event and the Regional Business Community Award to recognize small and home-based business in the area. Hobbies include visiting family and friends around the world with her son.
